This drama is a part of a niche kidney which seems to be enough common in Thailand. The disquised chef/ wench occasionally it’s genderbendered, at times it can be done veritably well and other times it can be a hard task to finish. Unfortunately this lakorn for me was hard to finish.
STORY
Woon is a country girl who lives alone with her father; her mama left home when she was youthful and now she’s about to start university. She and her friend Nawut help her father to run a small business dealing fermented fish to the original community. Athens run a food packaging company and is trying to reference fish from Woon’s community, he’s” antipathetic” to fermented fish. They meet concurrently in the original request.
Woon’s father dies shortly latterly and her estranged mama returns. She buys the deeds of the property Woon and her father lived in and uses this as a tool to force Woon to live with her in the megacity with her new hubby and stepson. The stepson happens to be Athens. Woon refuses to admit their mama son relationship in public and pretends that she’s an unfathered/ patronized child.
Shortly after moving by, Woon’s mama try’s to force her to marry Athens but she runs down and lives with Nawut at his aunt’s place. Athens also moves out from home and just by chance, he moves coming door to Nawuts aunt. Woon needs a job and Athens needs a wench, so Woon’s disquised herself to asset on Athens and to earn plutocrat to rebuy the deed from her mama .
sluggishly though Athens starts to fall in love with his dark skin country girl and Woon starts to soften. Troubles and love follow as Woon juggles her two personas.
Though it’s a enough simple plot, I enjoyed it til theex-wife of Athens made an appearance and also it went from being a enough unconcerned drama to an annoying padding. They could have finished this at occasion 16 and concentrated further on the differences of the couple and the the chase and love.
ACTING/ CAST
This was a enough easy part for oil painting to play, there was a bit of overacting but in country style lakorns you anticipate that. This was my first time seeing Mook act, she did a good enough job but I just did not feel the chemistry at all but did see flashes of it in certain scenes.
The support actors were good and I will be honest, I enjoyed Kat and Nawuts love more. I wish that they could have dilate out their story over a longer period because the love between Nawat and Kat felt rushed.
I liked Pang who played as Kat and hope she has main places in the future.
MUSIC
Nothing really stood out so that just means it’s average. The point I watched this cropped out the opening and ending themes but the little that was played was Luk Thung, keeping the theme of thenang’ek country disquised.
REWATCH
I actually might watch certain scenes before the reappearance of theex-wife. This was not the worse drama just longer and more bloated than it should have been.
